Book airline tickets by mobile phone – Malmö Aviation launches yet another smart service for passengers
Malmö Aviation is the first Swedish airline, perhaps the first in the world, to launch a new and innovative service that makes travel easier: managing flights by mobile phone. With Malmö Aviation’s mobile service, passengers can book, change and cancel flights, as well as check in by mobile phone.
With the launch of a mobile phone booking function, Malmö Aviation is expanding its range of smart services that save time and make travel easier for customers of the airline. All passengers need is a mobile phone to use the new service and manage their domestic flights themselves. Once a hassle, changing a flight can now be done simply by pushing a few buttons.
“Now our passengers can change flights quickly and easily no matter where they are,” says Maud Ekman, Business Development Manager at Malmö Aviation. “Most people have their phones with them when they travel, so it’s very convenient to have flight information stored in the phone, so you can easily find things like flight times,” continues Ekman. “We are incredibly proud to be the first airline in Sweden, perhaps the first in the world, to offer passengers the option to manage their Malmö Aviation flights by mobile phone,” concludes Ekman.
The service was developed in partnership with Braathens IT Solutions, a software development company within Braathens Aviation that develops innovative IT solutions for the travel industry.
