CHECK IN VIA TEXT MESSAGE
Malmö Aviation is working hard to make travel as hassle-free as possible. We have developed a new and smart service for Malmö Aviation cardholders who fly with carry-on baggage only.
Text us, and you are all checked in.
Book your flight as usual. When it is time to fly, we’ll text you. If you choose to reply, you are all checked in and ready to go! All you have to do is show your Malmö Aviation card at the gate.
To order the service: Log in with your personal information on our website at www.malmoaviation.se and select the service under “Change profile.” If you have questions about the service, you are welcome to call our mobile phone service on +46 (0) 771-88 00 10, or e-mail us at help@malmoaviation.se.

It really is this easy:
1. Book your flight as usual by logging into your profile on our website.
If you book your flight through a travel agency, you must make sure that your Malmö Aviation card is registered with the booking.
2. A few hours before departure, you will receive a text message (Note: our messages will be in Swedish only) confirming your reservation:

3. Check in at least 20 minutes before departure by replying to the text message and entering your flight number, e.g. TF305.
4. Shortly thereafter, you will receive a confirmation:

How late can I check in?
It is important that you check in by text message no later than 20 minutes before departure so that there will be enough time to receive a confirmation in reply no later than 10 minutes before departure.
What happens if I don’t reply to the text?
If you choose not to check in by text, of course your seat will still be held for you until 10 minutes before departure. Check in as usual at the airport via one of our kiosks or at the desk.
Can I check in if I am on standby for an earlier or later flight?
No, you cannot check in by text message if you are on standby.
What happens if I have checked in by text message but I’ve changed my mind and want to check baggage after all?
If you have baggage and have already checked in by text, go to the baggage check-in desk at the airport and let us know you are already checked in. We will add your baggage in the system.
What happens if I have not received a text?
If for some reason you have not received a text about your flight or a reply confirming that you have been correctly checked in, you must ALWAYS check in at the airport before going through security. We do not check in passengers at the gate and you may lose your seat if you have not received a confirmation and do not check in before going to the gate.
How do I cancel this text message service?
If you want to cancel Text Check-in Service, simply access your profile on our website and deactivate the service by clicking the X to remove it.
Why haven’t I received a text?
You may not have received a text for one of the following reasons:
1. You are on standby for another flight
2. Your Malmö Aviation card was not registered with your booking
3. Your mobile service provider has not forwarded our text to you in time
4. If none of the above apply, please contact our Mobile Support
